Project Helping Hands is a combined community effort sponsored by Culver City Rotary Club and the City of Culver. The annual charity drive collects cash donations, gifts and food items to help hundreds of Los Angeles families in need, primarily during the winter holidays. The “Food Drive” includes any “nonperishable” food (sugar, flour, rice, beans and canned goods) Home-prepared foods and glass jars cannot be accepted. Bring your canned food donations on Wednesday, January 23rd from 8am to 4pm.
Bisquick or comparable baking mix
Potatoes (boxed)
Gravy (canned)
Yams (2 cans)
Rice
Beans (3 cans)
Canned Vegetables (2 cans, such as peas, carrots, etc.)
Canned Fruit
Canned Tuna
Chicken Broth or Canned Soup (3 cans)
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Boxed Cookies
Staples – These optional items would be nice
Sugar
Oatmeal
Cereal
Canned Fruit
Jello or Instant Pudding
Muffin Mix AND Muffin Cups
Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Mustard
Canned Tomatoes
Cake Mix & Frosting
